What to Do on a Bratislava Holiday
Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is a beautiful city located on the banks of the Danube River. It is also very close to Austria and Hungary, so you can easily travel to these two countries.
Bratislava, like many European cities, has the concept of an "Old Town". Therefore, you should start your exploration from the Old Town. First, you should see the Presidential Palace. The building dates back to the 18th century. Later, the Trinity Church, located in the heart of the Old Town, is among the historical structures that must be seen. The church, with its bright blue interior, was built in 1727.
Cross the Novy Most Bridge
In a city with striking architectural beauty, you can see many damaged buildings, but you will also notice that these buildings or houses have an interesting aesthetic. The Cumil statue can be considered a work of this aesthetic understanding. Don't forget to take a photo in front of the statue, which looks at you with a smile. Another statue belongs to Napoleon. Bratislavans erected this statue to remember historical invasions.
The Church of Saint Martin and the Novy Most Bridge are also among the places to see. To see all the beauty of the city, you can go up to Bratislava Castle. Before leaving, don't forget to visit the many souvenir shops in the Old Town.
