A Group Hunter

   Turkey was very attractive hunting facilities, much favoured in the United, States and Europe. This consist largely of persian Ibex ( capra aegagrus ) and wild boar in the
historical amazing National Park of Termessos near Antalya, and of brown bear and wild boar in the Province of Artvin among breath-taking scenery in north-eastern
Turkey. Foreign hunters can only hunt in parties organised by the Turkish travel agencies which have been authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestryand Rural Affairs.
These agencies provide all information concerning seasons, authorized zones, formalities for permits, weapons and ammunition. A yist of such agencies can be obtained from the Union of Travel Agencies. ( TURSAB ).

Hunting Season :
   Antalya ( For Ibex ) : 01 October thru 31 January
   Artvin ( For brown bear ) : 01 September thru 15 November
                                  
Hunting Areas and Species :
   Defined annually by the Hunting Commission of the General Directorate of Wildlife, Ankara.

Generally :
   In south-west Turkey on the Mediterranean in the Antalya National Park : Ibex ( Capra aegagrus), wild board, wolf and jackal.
   In north-east Turkey, Artvin, province near the Georgian border: brown bear and wild boar.
Formalities :
   Outfitters or hunters are requested to send their local travel agent, details of hunting licences, rifle serial number, make and calibre together with home addresses and exact arrival and departure dates. Their travel agent will procure the hunting licence with which hunters are met on arrival at Istanbul airport.
Travel Arrangements and Accommodation :
   1 ) Antalya Area :
Tickets should be made out to Antalya via Istanbul where hunters will be met and assistede by the courries of their local travel agency in carrying out the customs formalities
have been completed, the hunters will be transferred to Antalya, plane and again, at Antalya airport will be met and transferred to their hotel.
   2 ) Artvin or other :
        Eastern area : Tickets should be to Istanbul only. Transportation by plane to Artvin or other eastern destination together will be provided by the local travel agents.
        Accommodation : in hunting lodge, selected villagers homes or camps.
   3 ) Antalya / Artvin combined :
Tickets should include the Istanbul/Antalya/Istanbul legs, legs the Istanbul/Antalya portion to be open dated.
